The stretch of Janakpuri West to Kalkaji Mandir of Delhi Metro Magenta line will be operational soon and as from the sources it will be on May 29th of 2018. The Magenta line is from Janakpuri West to
Botonical Garden, in which from Botonical Garden to Kalkaji Mandir is started services in December 25th of 2017. Now its time for Janakpuri West to Kalkaji Mandir which consists of 16 metro stations and those
are Janakpuri West, Dabri Mor, Dashrath Puri, Palam, Sadar Bazar Cantonment, Terminal 1D-IGI Airport, Shankar Vihar, Vasant Vihar, Munirka, R.K.Puram, IIT Delhi, Hauz Khas, Panchsheel Park, Chirag Delhi, Greater Kailash,
Nehru Enclave and Kalkaji Mandir. Out of these all stations only two stations such as Sadar Bazar and Shankar Vihar are elevated rest of the all stations are underground.

The Janakpuri West to Kalkaji Mandir stretch is having 25.6km approximately, with this launch of this part of the metro the total distance of Delhi Metro should be 278km which contains 202 metro stations around Delhi. The launch of this stretch will happend in the presense of union urban affairs minister Mr. Hardeep Singh Puri and Delhi chief minister Mr. Arvind Kejriwal. The next day onwards these metro services will be open to public, as per the media the metro services will start morning 6 a.m from both stations. And the metro train frequency should be 5 minutes 15 seconds.
